The idea of this painting comes from the game between lights and shadows on the
lilac bouchet, due to a nearby floor lamp, observed by me on the evening. Much
better as the floor lamp, the antique oil lamp (I have it from my aunt Ana)
formed a warm and friendly light on lilac flowers, highlighted by the white
lilac placed in the front.
