Landscape Paintings - Sheep at Gura Humorului.

Oil on canvas, 30cm x 23cm
On a warm day of April this year, doing tracking on wonderful hills of Bucovina, we were surprised by these sheep coming directly to us. After looking for a safe place to stay away from them we found out actually they are very friendly.

Village during Winter Holidays

Oil on canvas, 80 cm x 60 cm
The idyllic image of a village, covered in snow and decorated with fairy lights, was for the first time a part of decorating our house for the winter holidays.

Winter Landscape

Is inspired from an old holiday postcard, painted in 90s.

Autumn in few words

Oil on canvas, 35cm x 20 cm
Painted in a hurry, my intention was to add the colored masses and after that to continue with the details.

The transparency effect of colored layers led me to stop in time...

Impressionism Influences - The Miss with Red Umbrella

Oil on canvas, 27 cm x 42 cm
Is painted in the same time with "Young Lady on the Cliff" and with the recommendation of my wife to add more summer flowers as it was my first intention and to color the umbrella in red. The effects are great.

Impressionism Influences - Study for Street in late November

Oil on canvas, 40 cm x 30 cm

Actually on this small painting I was trying to catch  on canvas the atmosphere of a foggy November evening when all shop windows on boulevard are lit up and the trees still have plenty of red and gold leaves despite that everyone seems to do shopping for the coming winter holiday season.

The Shepherd - Figurative painting inspired by Grigorescu

Oil on canvas, 25cm x 52 cm
Done in oil colors is likely to reveal the eternity - the same image of a shepherd guarding his flocks of sheep is familiar to be seen today as well as a century ago on the same Romanian hills.

Landscape Paintings - Fair in 1700's Bucharest.

Oil on canvas, 41cm x 28 cm
Going to a new market opened in Buchatest, Mihaela was impressed by a sketch revealing a hot and dusty day at an old market from ancient Bucharest, with loaded wagons, merchants looking for shadow around and an ice cold limonade stand waiting for thirsty customers. Everything became this oil painting.

Venice painting - street view

Oil on canvas, 49 cm x 34 cm

Lights over the shadows and clear water mirrors instead of street pavement are only a part of Venice mystery.

Marine paintings - The Fishing Boat
